It becomes hot day by day here. We like to eat cold cuisine during the summer.
One of famous food in summer is cold Chinese noodle. ( 冷やし中華 hiyashichuuka ).
I often cook it at home.
This cold noodle set includes noodle and soup. You need to prepare only ingredient on the noodle. You boil noodle only three minute
I cooked this noodle today. I added cucumber, sesame, ham and tomatoes. The vegetables are from my garden The other basic ingredient is fried thin eggs on the noodle.
The soup tastes a bit sour. When summer arrives, Japanese people want to eat this noodel.

Yum. I miss that from Korea. They don’t eat cold noodles in North America.
I see. I’m lucky to eat this. In Korea, there is Korean cold noodle which tastes a little hot.

That looks good! Sometimes cold noodles can really hit the spot. It’s been hot here too, recently, so I’ve been occasionally making soba and dipping it in cold sauce. =)
Soba is also my favorite. The cold sauce is really good against hot summer. The rainy season is over here
Today my husband was complaining how hot it was here. I told him, you think this is hot? You couldn’t survive in Japan in the summer!
But he would be happy eating cold soba noodles!

This looks refreshing and tasty. I remember those cold noodle eating days as a kid in Taiwan. Although my favorite is definitely the Zaru Soba. 🙂
I guess that there is similar cold noodles in Taiwan. Of course, I also like Zaru Soba. 😀
