My family and I visited this Eel( in Japanese, Unagi ) restaurant last weekend.
This is a menu. Recently, the price of an eel is expensive because we can’t get many eels. We import many eels from China. (I’m not sure where this eel grew.)
This is a lunch menu. The price is more reasonable.
We ate this lunch eels set. It includes pickled vegetables, Japanese soup and orange jello.
The taste was really good. My youngest daughters also love to eat eel.
We seldom eat eels but it’s one of out favorite events 🙂

Can you tell me what it tastes like? Is it like fish? I have never tasted it.
It’s like fish.It’s little fatty food. The sauce is made of soy sauce. Anyway, an eel is special food for us. 🙂
I used to eat eel sometimes in Korea, although it’s not as expensive there. There was a town near our city that specialized in it. It sounds like a real treat. 🙂

Unagi is a summer favourite in Japan. Unfortunately, it has become quite expensive in recent times.
That’s true. When I was a child, it was easy to eat unagi. I wish that we could eat it much more.
We really can’t get unagi here in the US. When I was in Japan my friend made sure we went to an eel restaurant. She said in the summer it’s especially genki!
That’s true. Unagi makes us genki. It has a lot of energy. 🙂
