Various Houses in Netherlands
In the Netherlands, there are still many land development project. They are reclaiming residential-area from the sea.
So architects can plan buildings freely and they’re talented to plan unique design.
I took many apartment photos because it’s fun just to walk around the normal residential area.
All of them are houses. Which houses do you want to live in?

These buildings are all more unusual than those I’m used to here in the US.
If they are as interesting inside as out — any of them would be a good choice!
It’s same in Japan. I wonder if the inside. It’s interesting to live in them.
very interesting shapes and sharp angles. i like the buildings in the second and fourth shot.
Thanks much. They are unusual, indeed. I think that Dutch think them usual.
These houses are very nice! I like houses that are made with some creativity, because those “box houses” are just boring.. I can’t decide which one of these is the best, though! Because all of them are brilliant
Thanks. They are so unique that we never bored although some people may think them a little strange. The interesting design makes us bright.
Well, of course those houses seem a bit odd at first! But I think these are sooo much better than boring architecture..
I agree with you.
Very unusual styles. I would like to see the inside of the last one
Thanks! I also think so. It must be interesting.
Fabulous architecture! There are buildings that look similar to those here
Thanks. Oh, that’s interesting that you also have similar ones.
Indeed! Btw, the fabric the Norwegian Rain jackets (featured in my blog) are made of come from Japan.
How nice. I hope that Japanese jackets are good for you.
私は写真2の住宅のほうが好きです。
運河が見えたら、もっといいですね。^^
たしか、これらの住宅は全て運河や海に近かったです。なので、眺めはとてもいいです。
That last one with the red green curtain!
Yes, it’s important for the earth.
They have some very interesting shapes and designs. Very modern looking, which I love
Thank you. They are so modern and unique shape. That’s fun.

Amazing architectural design. I’m more of a suburbs guy but years from now, I’m thinking of a condo-like place to stay. Thanks.
Thanks a lot. It’s nice to live such a cozy apartment. Have a good day.
There are some interesting designs there. I dislike the buildings in the third image – they remind me of the dispiriting concrete tower blocks built in the UK during the 60s – many of which have since been demolished.
I like the sharp angled building in the last image but one wonders about the dimensions of the rooms inside!
Thank you for your comment. Modern buildings aren’t often kind for people. I understand what you said. The last one seems not convenient to live.
They are interesting!
Thanks!!
They all look…. mmmm weird but interesting! =D
Thanks a lot. They are interesting, indeed.
Love those narrow, pointed corners!
Thanks a lot. Happy to hear that.
So much creativity in the architecture… I’d love to visit someday.
I wonder if how is the inside. It must be very interesting.
Very interesting houses and structures! I enjoyed these photos!
What interesting homes these must be! It really makes me wonder what they look like inside! I think I would probably like most of them… it looks like they all have nice, big windows… I imagine they are filled with some great light!
Thanks a lot. I also wonder the inside. I envy architects in Holland becasuse they can plan buildings freely.
Interesting! Cool architecture, yet I do like my house here in the mountains.
Thanks. I also like my small house.
Sometimes, I want to stay such interesting buildings.
the last photo: a house like a ship! I’m glad, that you found so many interesting architecture in Amsterdam!

Your photos are also nice and interesteing. By the way, I came Cologne and enjoyed the town today.
Those buildings are amazing! I love unusual structures! Thanks for sharing these interesting pictures with us!
Indeed. My pleasure.
