Top of the Church
I climbed the west church in Amsterdam.
The tower is over 80 meter hight.
You can only climbe the tower through this dark small staris.
The view from the top is quite good.I understood that almost all were four-story buildings and they were about 6 meters wide. You can see they are so crowded that the open space and the green are few.
Dutch needed to live at high population densities because the land is limited.
However, there are long roads in the town and you can ride on trams, buses, bicycles and trains.
The transportation system is good. I’ll write about it later.

PS: Good transport, OK, but do they have a Hachiko bus?!
Of course, there isn’t any Hachiko but there is Miffy in Holland.
Great view! Have you been on the canals yet?
Thanks! Of course, I have already enjoyed the canal cruse.
The view from the top over Amsterdam looks amazing
Indeed. Thank you so much.
Lovely sights!
Thank you so much.
Westerkerk
I wish I had a view like that, really pretty.
Thanks much. The view was really nice.
Oh, you are in Europe now!! Beautiful houses and streets! How do hey maintain such a harmonious landscape in color and shape? Unwritten rules or some strict rules? This is my dream town.
keiko
Yes, I still stay in Europe. It’s the longest stay during my trip. I guess that there is a strict rule because the center of Amsterdam is the world heritage. Thanks.
Sorry, I skipped still
Oh, you are in Europe! → Oh, you are still in Europe!
Wonderful views from the top.
Absolutely. Thanks.
Wow, those are amazing shots! That is quite a densely populated city.
Thank you so much. Yes, it’s so crowded.
Beautiful views from the high tower. I am enjoying your Amsterdam series… thank you!
My pleasure. I’m happy to hear that.
What an incredible view – well worth the climb, I would say! It really is beautiful!
I didn’t realize how densely constructed this city is… I can really get a good feel of it from your wonderful photographs!
Thank you so much. It was a bit hard to climb the tower but it was worth to climb.
Vibrant, fun images. That was one amazing climb leading to a spectacular view.
Thanks a lot. The view was so nice that I wanted to stay much more.
Great photos! Interesting view – they are really packed in! But like you said, they kind of have to be.
Thanks! It’s nice to see the city because I was studying the city planning.
Lovely buildings!
Thanks much.
Beautiful view from way up there. I would love to visit there one day. including from the Church. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for stopping by. It’s worth to visit and enjoy walking around and taking photos.
What a great view! Yes: densely packed but very pretty. I love the orange roof tops.
Thanks much. That’s good because most roof are orange.
It´s nice to get a good view like the one from the tower, your photo is very good. I will send a link to this blog to a blogfriend living in Holland.
Thank you so much.
I hope that your frined will like my blog.
I love those little houses! It must look nicer in Winter when snow cover the roof. That reminds me of Santa!
I think so. I want to see Santa in the winter.
you climbed the west church in Amsterdam – the tower is over 80 meter high: congratulations, sporty, still not tired on your trip around the globe?
Thanks! It was a bid hard but interesting experience. I had a little cough but it’s okay.
Wow, that is quite a view. It was worth the long and dark climb to the top. The canal through the city makes it unique and makes up for the density.
WoW! Such spectacular views…
Yes, It was a great view.
