Porvoo in Finalnd
This town is Porvoo in Finland. The town is the second oldest in Finland. Many wooden houses were built in 1346.
In the past, this town was prosperous because there is a good river for trade.
The scenery is preserved well.
People who live here can’t change the wall and the roof easily.
This place is a popular small tourist town in Finland. There are various shops, cafes, restaurants and museums on the stone street.
This place is the old city hall.
This restaurant is cozy, isn’t it?
My favorite is this church . The church is still used and good place to gather people in neighborhood.

Nice reportage from Porvoo, Cocomino. It seems you are having a good time, doing a lot of different things. My favorite in Porvoo seems to be the litttle, cozy café…
Thank you so much! Yes, I’m enjoying Finland very much.
The little cafe is also my favorite.
It looks as if the wooden houses are painted in different colours? That’s nice! Imagine if we could paint the shitamachi houses in such cheerful yellows, reds and blues! ^^
Thanks. If the shitamachi houses become more beautiful (it doesn’t mean becoming new.) , many many people will come and enjoy the town.
Looks like a clean, well-preserved place.
Yes, I think so. Thank you.
I know so little about Finland, but thanks to you I now know a little more!
Looks wonderful and SO different from where I live!
My pleasure. It was really nice small town.
This city is colorful and beautiful. Nice photos.
Thank you! The color is very nice, I think.
I love the photos. Porvoo is a beautiful place. Greetings from Finland
Thank you for stopping by from Finland. Glad to know you. Almost all Finnish are friendly.
Finland is so different to what I imagined. Thank you for broadening my knowledge
My pleasure. It’s interesting to know something new. It’s new world for me.
Such a beautiful place! I love how they preserved the scenery. You must have enjoyed your stay there my friend!
Thank you. Indeed, I’m enjoying my stay both for my job and sight seeing.
what a nice life you have there my friend. enjoying the best of both worlds. Stay blessed!
Thank you so much. Glad to hear that. I’ll enjoy the rest of my trip.
A very colorful town!
Indeed, thanks!
So scenic! These are all wonderful photos, as always, sir!
I really like your photo of the church, too! What an interesting tower – I like the shape(s) of the roof!
Thank you so much. All houses are impressive for me. It was a fun day. I can recommend all my friends visit the town.
I like the cobblestone streets. The town is quite colorful! Very nice shots!
I also like it. It’s not easy to drive a car on the streets but it’s a nice scene.
The little houses along the riverside are just amazing. If the water is clean, people can dive into the river for fun time before or after bedtime!
I think so. Swimming a river is really cool and nice.
(I don’t know whether we are able to swim in this river. )
I love taking photos of churches and chapels. Your photo nad the others are fantastic.
Thank you so much. I’m glad to hear that. It’s very impressive.
I love Porvoo, it’s so cozy, pretty and old ^.^ We visited Porvoo in 2011. I definitely want to go there again. By the way, we ate vegetarian sushi there
That’s good. I have never noticed the sushi restaurant in Porvoo. What a shame.
I never got to travel outside of Helsinki, so I am grateful to you for these interesting photos and reportage.
Fortunately, I was able to some beautiful cities. That’s quite nice.
What a beautiful town… and your pictures are beautiful.
Yes, I think so. It was really nice small town.
