Slot Machines in Finland
This is a Finish slot machine run by a goverment-related organisation. All sales are used for social welfare. You can find it in stations, cafes, supermarkets and so on. The organization, which is called Ray, has 50 years of history.
It’s an interesting and good system for social welfare.
I noticed that many people enjoy this during daytime on weekdays.
This is a casino in Finland.
On the other hand, the most popular gamble in Japan is “Pachinko” but the sales are not used for public people.
Instead sales are used for private companies which can sometimes be sometimes gangs. Only a few are used for the municipality in Japan.

Pretty cool machines… Do they really work?
Yes, I heard that. It’s a good system for public welfare.
Slot machines for welfare? What a great idea! Imagine if Japan could use all its pachinko income for Fukushima reconstruction …
That’s a good idea. We should do it.
I did not know they had casino in Finland. There is much to learn from your blog
Thank you. I also learn many things here and I just share them to everyone.
Interesting concept regarding the slot machine profits for the state. Here in the U.S., so much seems to be for individual profit, unfortunately.
Thanks. I heard that there are many casinos in the US like Las Vegas.
I usually don’t have very good luck at Casinos…
it seems like there are always many interesting things to see there, though. We have a few around St. Louis which (legally) need to be located on the river. They are often built just close enough to touch the water, or have little channels or moats built from the river to the buildings – which seems kind of silly to me, in a way.
Thanks. It’s interesting that your places are located close to touch the water.
Each countries have their own casinos.
Very interesting, I enjoyed this.
Thank you for stopping by. Glad to hear that.
That’s interesting. I wouldn’t have thought there would be a casino in Finland. Did you play any of the slot machines?
I played a little pachinko in Japan, but I did not really understand it…only that I was told I could exchange my winnings for a little gift.
Thanks. I played the slot machine a bit but I wasn’t able to understand why many people enjoyed this. Pachinko is same for me. Anyway, it’s good if the money from them are used for welfare.
