About Gunma 05 : Making and Eating Konjac
We also experienced cooking konjac by ourselves.
Generally, it’s made by a machine but we cooked it with our hands.
First, we added konjac potato powder to water while someone stirred untill the powder became a paste.
Second, we added dried laver, yuzu and seaweed in to it make three kinds of taste.
Third, we made various kinds of shape such as a star, a circle, a panda and a donut.
Finally, we boiled them for around 15 minutes. That’s it.
You can eat them with vinegar miso and sweet miso.
In addition, we were able to eat various kinds of konjac food freely. It’s amazing and if we lived near to the factory, we may visit there every day.
The tastes were curry, ramen, sweet beans, sashimi, miso and so on.
