Fireworks
The other day my family and I went to the rooftop of the supermarket to see fireworks in Kawagoe. The fireworks display was cancelled last year because of the March 11th earthquake.
However, fireworks events are held in many places now. The fireworks are important culture event during the summer.
This is like an actinia, isn’t it?
The sound of the fireworks was very powerful.
Fortunately, my eldest daughter and youngest daughter were nice to one another during the event. My eldest daughter held her sister so she could better see the fireworks. She was very considerate.
On the other day, we enjoyed sparklers in the front of our house. It’s still fun even if the fireworkds are very small.
PS:My family and I are enjoying camping in Nagano prefercture. Sorry for delaying to reply your contacts.

Ah, senko hanabi … reminds me of Nagabuchi’s “Natsu Matsuri”!
Yes, it’s senko hanabi. That’s great that you know my favorite Nagabuchi.
When in Japan, it always helps to know a few songs for karaoke. This was my favorite, along with “Yosaku” & “Linda Linda”
Of course, I know those songs. Over 35 years old people often sing them. It’s nostalgic.
Beautiful fireworks. Enjoy your camping trip.
Thank you so much. We’re enjoying camp now.
Lovely pictures! Looks like fun.
Indeed. Thanks much.
I’m glad that the fireworks are back this year and people in Japan can celebrate this great time of the year and enjoy it with family and friends. I hope the mountains in Nagano are nice and cool for you and it is a fantastic place for camping.
Thanks a lot. Our life is coming back usual one.
It’s hot in Nagano prefecture daytime but it’s cool during the night.
Great pics of fireworks.
Thank you so much.
Great shots, I loved the third one… that moment of sister-sister bond is so special
Enjoy your camping trip
Thank you. I also like the third shot. I’m very happy to have two kids.
Always such a joy to see your outings with your family!
Defenitly. Thank you.
My favorite fireworks photo is your daughters watching them! I always loved playing with sparklers when I was little.
I see. Thank you so much. I also think so. That’s great when my children don’t fight each other.
Enjoy Nagano! I look forward to your holiday stories and photos! ^^
PS: Last night was the Sumidagawa Fireworks with Sky Tree in the background. It’s was SO beautiful.
Thank you. Sumida fireworks is so popular that many people have gathered there as you know.
Anyway, it’s too hot every day.
Fireworks are fun and loud! Hope you enjoy your camping adventure :^)
Many thanks. We enjoyed it.
enjoy your camping!
Thanks!
How cute to see your daughters get along so well. I hope you had a good time camping.
Thank you. My children were also so cute when we enjoyed camping.
Hanabi in summertime! Enjoy your holiday!
Thank you.
すてきな花火ですね。
あ、名古屋に行ったんですか。
名古屋といえば、世界の山ちゃんとても有名ですね。
食べましたか?^^
長野の白馬というところに行きました。冬は、スキーで有名なところです。
Looks like it was a lovely fireworks show! We enjoy fireworks frequently here too, it makes for great family time.
I see. That’s great because you also enjoy fireworks. Happy summer holidays!
Cool! The fireworks photos do look like sea anemones! We have two big holidays in the summer where there are usually fireworks, but this year has been so hot and dry with many wildfires in our state, that people are trying to take extra precautions.
I see. That’s not good.
We usually hold the fireworks events along the river or sea for preparing big fire.
It looks like a flower!
Your elder daughter is so sweet.
Indeed. Thanks!
