Cherry Blossoms
The cherry blossoms is our favorite.
We hold cherry blossoms festival at many places during the flowering time.
Many people gather this park and hold “Hanami.” which you sit under the cherry blossoms and drink beer, eat food.
It’s a great way to communicate with other people and celebrate the spring.
It’s a good time to take photos.
It’s also best to eat delicious food while you enjoy seeing flowers.
We often say, “We prefer eating food(dango) than seeing flowers. “
I love the view of the sakura trees in full bloom! *^v^*
I wish we had similar sign of Spring coming in Poland, but we only observe the chestnut trees blooming at the beginning of May. No hanami is held, it’s only the sign for the high school students that it’s time for their final exams! ~*^o^*~
I see.There is also the chestnut tree in my neighborhood. Hanami is fun. Hope you’ll enjoy it when you come to Japan.

もちろん、子どもも大人も桜の下で食べる食べ物は大好きです。。

Me too! We were fortunate enough to experience cherry blossoms and hanamis for 3 years while we were living in Tokyo. Now that we are back in Canada, we miss it every year. Thank you for posting about Cherry Blossoms and bringing back good memories.

For me the blossom of the Japanese cherry trees are one of the highlights of the spring (along with the tulips). The white of pink covered trees are such an soothing sight for the eyes and the mind. I love the idea of Hanami – which I should do one of the next days then. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures.

Your parks with these cherry blossoms and your hanami practices just look like a small piece of heaven! We were privileged to raise our two children in Macon,Georiga, the home of the largest number of cherry trees in a metro area outside of Tokyo! They have an enormous, world-famous Cherry Blossom Festival every year to coincide with the vernal equinox, the official beginning of spring. Your cherry blossom photos are so wonderful to see during Easter Week for me here.

It is so beautiful with pink everywhere and you know Spring is here. We are having strange weather here so some of the trees already had their blossoms in February/March.
