Weekly Photo Challenge : Spring ( Bicycles )

When spring arrives, everyone wants to go out.
Bicycles are the best way to be able to feel a wind of spring.
Recently bicycles are more popular than before because many people are think about their health and the environment in Japan.

After the earthquake, the boom accelerated rapidly.
I heard that many bicycles were selling well and some bicycles got stolen in my neighborhood.

I guess that the reason is a shortage of gasoline and needs for getting away if a new disaster happens.

By the way my eldest daughter has been practicing riding her bicycle without the assistance of the training wheels which I bought for her for birthday present.

Six months ago she stopped her practice before she could ride it.
So I will tell her to retry it.

When she is able to ride her bicycle, we will go to a large park and other play spaces on our bicycles instead of getting away from a disaster.

    • Thanks always. I don’t care my worries as much as possible.
I want to visit Netherlands and Germany someday.
I can imagine that these countries are beautiful.

  1. Each time my son comes back from Japan, he says he misses all the bicycling he is able to do there. Since his bicycle here in the U.S. is currently broken, he walks to the train or bus, and a few times walked all the way to or from work (which is many miles away) just to challenge himself. Often he can have use of, or get a ride in our family car, but chooses to walk or bike. He believes that people are overweight here partially due to the fact that hardly anyone is walking or bicycling and almost all people are in cars. Many of these same people then have to go to the gym to get their exercise. Very silly! People living in NYC walk far more than individuals in rural areas, and are probably more fit.
Great picture above of your wife and daughter.
Think of the picture – when your whole family is bicycling down a beautiful park path one after the other.
A lovely “contraption” this thing the BICYCLE!

    • Thank you for your comment and compliment.
Certainly, it is important not to drive a car for health.
How nice your son’s attitude !
Walking or riding Bicycles are enjoyable.
